Portraits
These images are different from simple ID photos because we used different lighting to really express the pictures instead on ID photos that us one simple light. The lighting technique I used is reflecting the light off a board to the models. The model in the first photo is showing a serious look while looking at the outside world, in the second and third photo the model is feeling happy as they pose for the photos. To heighten the mood i could have lightened all of the photos.
Greatest hits
I selected the first image because it meets the standard of the light project. The first photo is compositionally dynamic because i used a darker contrast. The viewers eye moves from the left to right due to how close it is on the right. I used shutter speed with this image. The second image i selected because i love the way it looks. It is compositionally dynamic because i used a darker contrast. The viewers eye moves from left to right as well due to the way the photo is angled. I used depth of field while taking this photo. I picked the third photo because after I took the photo, it caught my eye very well. The third photo is compositionally dynamic because of the dark contrast. The viewers eye moves from the bottom left to the top right of the photo. I used depth of field in this photo. The fourth photo I picked because of how well the texture was exposed. The fourth photo is compositionally dynamic because it has dark and light contrast. The viewers eyes will go from the center to the right. I used depth of field. I chose this fifth photo because it meets the standards of the depth of field assignment. The fifth photo is compositionally dynamic because it has a dark and light contrast. The viewers eyes go from the front to the back of the photo. I used depth of field. I chose the sixth photo because it reminds me of time with my family and my dog. This photo is compositionally dynamic because I used a lighter contrast. The viewers eyes move from the tennis ball in the center to the blurry ground in the front of the ball. I used aperture.
Double Exposure
I selected these images because I liked the sunset and this was my favorite portrait I took. The mood is calming in this photo. I felt the whole image was successful because the sunset is still reflecting behind the portrait. I would like to touch up, the portraits body making them more visible.
Favorite Person, Place, and Thing
I feel the softball field and the bed was successful. But, not really the second photo. I brought my viewers emotions to the 1st photo, because i showed how comfortable it is due to the creases in it. In the second photo i got the viewers emotions by how happy she looks. In the 3rd photo i showed the beautiful sky above the field and have the field has the main point but also have nature in the back. If i were to be photographed i would like to make sure i was paying attention, with good lighting and background.
